My Approach
My first goal is to provide stunning, timeless designs along with outstanding customer service. Relationships are important here at J.Blu Design and I want my couples to feel like they have hired a friend and not just another wedding vendor. I want you to feel comfortable asking for advice or options throughout the planning process. I am very selective in the number of weddings we book per week because I want our team to fully focus on your wedding day. As a professional in the floral business for almost a decade, I understand that creating your vision comes from knowing you well and allowing you to feel seen, heard, and understood.

My Story
I started J.Blu Design in my basement in 2015. Since then, I have built my business literally in my front yard with a beautiful on-site studio where consultations and creations take place. Wedding florals have allowed me to find balance between creating on a grand scale and developing a close relationship with clients during the planning process. As a detail-oriented perfectionist, my commitment to the vision is always considered, down to the last detail. I love the creative process of designing wedding florals, but at my core, I’m a people person. I love consultations and getting to know a new couple.
I was raised to believe that hard work, attention to detail, and serving others are the foundation for success; personally and professionally. My career in florals started in college, working at a flower shop. For the next 15 years, I worked in the agriculture industry: creating, communicating, and problem solving, but always felt like my skills and creativity needed to be stretched more.
Through this whole journey, I am so lucky to have the support of my husband and three kids. They are often found helping behind the scenes and I couldn’t run this business without them. My assistant designer, Bri, and several additional amazing women round out my team on design and event days. Many of whom are past brides.
